Water drains slowly
Sinks, tubs, or showers that pool and empty gradually — a partial clog building up.
Slow drain, standing water, or a recurring clog? We clear kitchen, bathroom, and main line blockages across Corpus Christi and the Coastal Bend.
Any one of these on its own is a sign. Two or more usually means the blockage is bigger than a single fixture.
Sinks, tubs, or showers that pool and empty gradually — a partial clog building up.
Water that won't drain at all — the blockage has closed the line.
If the same drain clogs every few months, the blockage isn't fully cleared.
Air escaping through a partial blockage — often a sign the issue is deeper in the line.
Odor rising from a sink, tub, or floor drain — buildup or a dry trap.
More than one drain slow or backed up usually means a main line blockage, not a single fixture.
Two questions: where is the blockage, and why did it form? The answer determines the method.
We start by finding out where the clog actually is — a single fixture, a branch line, or the main. Most kitchen and bath clogs clear with a hand auger or a drain machine. Main line blockages get a larger cutter head and a camera to confirm the line is clear and sound.
Get an estimateIf the same drain keeps clogging, there's usually an underlying cause — grease buildup, tree roots in the line, or a bellied pipe. We'll tell you what we found and whether a simple cleaning will hold or whether the line needs a closer look.
Get an estimateDrain cleaning is priced by the type of blockage and where it sits in the system. A single kitchen sink is a different job than a main line clear-out, and we quote it that way.
Estimates are free. If we can clear it on the spot, we'll quote before we start. If the problem turns out to be bigger — roots, a collapsed section, or a recurring main line issue — we'll tell you and give you the next step.
Most drain cleanings run $150–$400. Main line clean-outs and camera inspections run more — we'll quote before we start.
Straight answers to what people ask before booking a drain service.
You can, but be careful. Store-bought cleaners work on light clogs and can damage older pipes, and they don't fix the underlying cause. If a drain keeps clogging, the blockage is deeper than the chemical reaches.
On main line blockages and recurring clogs, yes. A camera shows us what's actually in the line — roots, grease, scale, or a break — so we can tell you whether a cleaning will hold or whether something bigger is going on.
Usually one of three things: grease and food buildup in kitchen lines, hair and soap in bathroom lines, or tree roots entering a main line through a joint. Each one calls for a different fix.
Not with the methods we use. Hand augers and drain machines are sized to the pipe, and we stop if we hit something that doesn't feel right. Older cast iron and clay lines get a gentler approach than modern PVC.
Most single-fixture clogs clear in under an hour. Main line clean-outs take longer — usually one to three hours depending on the blockage and how far it sits from the access point.
