No hot water at all
The tap runs cold no matter how long you wait — often a failed heating element, thermostat, or pilot.
No hot water? We diagnose, repair, and replace traditional and tankless water heaters across Corpus Christi and the Coastal Bend. Same-day service on most jobs.
If any of these sound familiar, the unit is telling you something. Most are repairable if caught early.
The tap runs cold no matter how long you wait — often a failed heating element, thermostat, or pilot.
A shower that used to last is now over in a few minutes — usually sediment buildup or a failing lower element.
Brown or metallic-tasting hot water typically points to a corroded anode rod or a tank rusting from the inside.
Sediment on the bottom of the tank traps water underneath it and boils — the noise gets worse over time.
Any moisture at the base of the unit is a leak — from a fitting, the T&P valve, or the tank itself.
A pilot that won't stay lit usually means a thermocouple, gas supply, or draft issue that needs a look.
Two paths: repair the part that failed, or replace the unit. Which one depends on age, tank condition, and how the unit is behaving.
Most water heater problems are one failed part, not a dead unit. We diagnose and repair thermostats, heating elements, thermocouples, pilot assemblies, pressure relief valves, and anode rods. If the tank itself is sound, repair is usually the cheaper path.
Get an estimateWhen the tank is rusting from the inside, leaking at the base, or the unit is past its service life, replacement is the right call. We install traditional tank and tankless units — gas and electric — and handle venting, gas line, and electrical work as needed.

Whether repair or replacement is the right call depends on the age of the unit, the part that failed, and how the tank itself looks. We'll give you a straight answer after we've seen it — not a sales pitch.
Estimates are free. If repair makes sense, we'll quote the repair. If replacement is the better spend, we'll quote both a traditional tank and a tankless option so you can compare.
Most repairs run $150–$400. Most replacements run $800–$2,500 depending on tank size and type.
Straight answers to what people ask before booking a service call.
Traditional tank water heaters typically last 8–12 years. Tankless units often run 15–20 years with regular descaling. If yours is past 10 years old and starting to need repairs, it's worth talking through repair vs. replacement before you spend money on a fix.
If the unit is under 8 years old and the problem is a single part — element, thermostat, valve — repair usually makes sense. If it's over 10 years old, leaking from the tank itself, or needing multiple repairs in a short window, replacement is usually the better spend. We'll give you both numbers and let you decide.
Yes. We install and service both traditional tank and tankless water heaters, including gas and electric models. If you're switching from a tank to tankless, we'll walk through venting, gas line, and electrical requirements before quoting.
A straight tank-for-tank swap is usually a half-day. A tankless conversion or a move to a different location typically takes a full day or more, depending on venting and gas line work. We'll give you a time estimate with the quote.
